The Mexican Dinner was simply awesome! The Mansfield crew outdid themselves with the meal! We would like to thank all who attended our breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday! The picture at left shows some of our many workers who spent countless hours of volunteer time at the Reno Elks Lodge on Saturday, July 7. Notable in the photo are Mike, Carolyn and Cassie Elmore and four of our ever vigilant Rainbow Girls, without whom we could never have pulled it off! Thanks again to all!! |

Italians Know italian Food Best!!Our italian night was fantastic! Alan and Debbie Squalia put on a fantastic meal for all those jolly conventioneers who came across the street to the best kept secret in Reno! We would like to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, everyone who came over and supported our Lodge on Monday, July 8.
We have so much enjoyed meeting all of you folks from all over the country! We know many of you met Cheri and purchased drink tokens, meal tickets, caps, pins and whatever else she was able to talk you into! Thank you!! |

I'm Tellin' you for true!We had some kind of Cajun night! Live music and a fantastic meal were had by all who came over. It's hard to believe the dedication of our volunteers at the Reno Elks Lodge! We even have workers who "play hurt", as it were. It must the the spirit of the "Jolly Corks" who invaded our lodge. A special thank you to the walking wounded, and you know who you are. The picture at left is of a young couple who braved South Virginia Street to visit us at the Reno Elks. This picture is promise to them. See, check it out online!! |

German Night was a Smashing success!!
There is nothing quite like good German fare and a festive German band! On Tuesday, July 9, we had a great line-up of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for our guests at the Reno Lodge. Even District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler Feryl Fitzgerald jumped in to work for our guests! Thanks to all who came out on Tuesday. We very much appreciate all of your support for our Lodge and we hope you had a great, great time! |
Western Night Rocked! The last night of the convention was a big one for the Lodge. Not only did we have large crowds for breakfast and lunch, we had the largest crowd for any of our dinners. Despite intense competition from the Exalted Ruler's Ball, we had over 180 for dinner on Thursday. Dave Kretchman and his crew did a fantastic job with the BBQ. The meal was so popular that we had to run out and buy more food! Overall, the evening was very successful and a lot of fun for those who came to the Lodge. Did we expect anything else though? For, this is Reno and the wild, wild west. |
